In November 2021, just as he turned four, Harvey had his first absence seizure.
By February 2022 we were at the Children's Brain and Nerves Clinic at Starship Hospital in Auckland. The neurologist suspected absence seizures and ordered an EEG. In March the results came back and confirmed the diagnosis.
